The Tomos Motorcycle Company is based in Slovenia and is located in the city of Koper. This company produces a various amount of goods that are available to the Eastern European countries.
The main productions include not just motorcycles, but automobiles, mopeds, boats and outboard motors as well. The most commonly known product, however, are the mopeds that are produced there, in their Koper-based factory.
Throughout the years, this company has produced a various number of automobiles and motorcycles for other European companies, which include Punch as well as Citroen automobiles.
Although based out of Slovenia, this company’s mopeds are also produced in another location in Europe, since 1966, a Dutch development team based out of Epe, Netherlands. Since the poor way in which this factory was built in the Netherlands, there has been 36 other mopeds companies to open as well as close, leaving the Tomos Motorcycle Company as the sole producer of mopeds for the Netherlands.
