In 2000, the Aeon Company was developed as a means of producing a three-seater car for both road as well as track. The company was founded by Keith Wood and John Hewat and by 2003, they were ready to present their first road car that was to become available to the general market.
The two founders both had engineering backgrounds along with more than 17 years of experience in the automotive competition arena. While John Hewat has had the most experience in the competitive field with a number of trial carts produced and raced in his beginnings, Keith Wood brought with him the experience in ownership of an off-road vehicle company specialising in the production for four-wheel drive agricultural and amenity vehicles.
It was back in November of 2003 that Aeon would showcase their first road car at the Exeter Kit Car Show. While still relatively young in the automotive industry, Aeon has already begun to make a name for themselves in the kit car industry around the world.
With Aeon’s growing popularity amongst the kit car enthusiasts around the world, they are sure to continue to provide the world with some of the finest do-it-yourself kits for making fine and high performance automobiles.
